Dr. Naheem Mahtab, CPA, as seasoned strategist and corporate finance personnel, a versatile academic turned corporate,is the Founder & CEO of Synergy Group BD LCC, Skills Synergy, ProFacility Services and Progoti Synergy Limited. Prior to that he served as the Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff at Sheba Platform Limited.
Dr. Mahtab completed his, Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Real Estate Finance (DBA), Masters of Accounting from Curtin University, Australia and his bachelor’s in Finance and Marketing from North South University.
He was employed at Bay Developments Limited as their Senior Assistant Vice President of Strategy, Finance and Human Development, as an Additional Director of Northern Education Group and World Marketing Summit Group Bangladesh, an initiative of Kotler Impact Inc, Canada, and prior to that he was an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at IUB.
Dr. Mahtab led IUB School of Business and Entrepreneurship towards successful achievement of their ACBSP accreditation and sub contracts for ACBSP as the Chair of International Peer Review Evaluation Teams. He also serves ACBSP as a Chair of their Bylaws committee and articulation committee and Secretary of Region 10. Furthermore, he is the only certified evaluator and mentor of ACBSP from Bangladesh and evaluated 19 international universities and mentored 10 for ACBSP accreditation. He is a trained accreditation officer of ACBSP and is trained in IQAC accreditation and Outcome based education.
He has more than 17 years of strategic leadership, branding, management, organizational development, HR, Training and development and administrative experiences in managing medium to large scale corporate operations, marketing event and operating strategic projects in various organizations both in Bangladesh and overseas. He has wide experience in strategic planning, execution, and human resource activities. Dr. Mahtab possesses profound knowledge of managerial strategic principles, KPI and target development, performance management and continuous improvement focused on quality. Over the years, he has demonstrated strong leadership, project management and problem-solving skills. He has a strong analytical and critical thinker with the ability to solve complex problems.
Prior to joining IUB, he served in various academic roles in both Australia and Bangladesh. Besides that, Dr. Mahtab served as the Academic Manager and Principal Executive Officer for Cambridge College International in Australia for over 5 years. He is a certified trainer/ assessor from Australia.
Dr. Naheem is also actively involved with JCI. In his chapter, JCI Dhaka Dynamic, he was the Training Commissioner for 2022 and for 2023 he has been elected as the Local Vice President. Furthermore, he has notable publications in local and international journals and has 2 books under his portfolio. He actively participates in international seminars and delivers talks as a key note speaker.
In the year 2020, he was awarded twice, teaching excellence award. Once at the Higher Education forum in India and once at IUB. Besides he bagged the best presenter Award at the ACBSP region 10 Conference in January 2020. In 2023 he received the Best Young Achiever Award at the International Leadership Award and Summit, 2023 and Global Recognition Award.
Imtiaz Uddin is a versatile professional with extensive experience in business management, marketing, and education. Served as Director of Marketing and Administration at FARR Ceramics Ltd. since 2013, he oversaw local and international marketing, production, and administration for this state-of-the-art ceramic tableware manufacturer. Imtiaz holds a Bachelor in Business Studies from Charles Sturt University, Sydney, and has pursued various diplomas in marketing, business administration, and accounting. His career spans roles in Australia, including positions as a Head Trainer/Assessor at Williams Business College and Lead Trainer/Assessor at Lloyds International College. Imtiaz's expertise encompasses training and development, ceramics industry management, and sales and customer service, gained through experiences at companies like Woolworths and 3 Mobile. Active in social and professional circles, he holds leadership positions in organizations such as JCI Dhaka Dynamic and the Entrepreneurs Club of Bangladesh. Imtiaz's multifaceted background, combining academic knowledge with practical industry experience, positions him as a well-rounded professional in today's dynamic business landscape.
Kazi Mohammad Jafar Sadek is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in strategic human resource management across various industries. Served as the Chief People Officer at Sheba Platform Limited until June 2024, he has previously held key positions such as Group CHRO at RANCON Holdings Limited and Senior HR Consultant at TalenTracker Limited. His expertise spans HR strategy, organizational development, talent management, and succession planning, with a proven track record of aligning HR initiatives with business goals. Sadek's educational background includes a BBA in Human Resources Management from East-West University, complemented by certifications like the Adani Emerging Leadership Program and Talent Management from MDIS, Singapore. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated proficiency in creating data-driven cultures, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, implementing performance management systems, and developing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, making him a valuable asset in today's dynamic business landscape.
